Sidney Brichto

Sidney Brichto was a prominent figure in British Judaism, serving as a Liberal rabbi. Born in America, he later became a key player in the UK's Liberal Jewish community. His career was marked by significant contributions to the development of Liberal Judaism in Britain. In 1964, he took on a pivotal role as the first executive director of the Union of Liberal and Progressive Synagogues, an organization that would later come to be known as Liberal Judaism.
